 What You’ll Need:

  • Standard garden hose

  • Nearby drain or safe water runoff area

  • Wet/dry vacuum or absorbent towels (for final cleanup)

  Step-by-Step Instructions (with manual valve):

  1. Power Off the Chiller
Before draining, make sure your chiller is turned off and unplugged for safety.

  2. Locate the Drain Valve Hose
Find the hose connected to the manual drain valve on your tub.

  3. Attach Your Garden Hose
Screw a garden hose onto the threaded end of the valve hose. Ensure the connection is snug to avoid leaks.

  4. Place the Hose for Draining
Insert the hose into one of the tub’s outlets and lead the other end to the nearest drain or runoff area.

  5. Open the Manual Drain Valve
Turn the valve handle to the open position. Water will begin flowing out through the hose.

  6. Let It Drain Fully
Allow all water to drain completely from the tub.

  7. Mop Up Any Remaining Water
Use a wet/dry vacuum or towels to clean up any puddles left inside the tub.

  8. Close Valve and Detach Hose
Once finished, turn the valve to the closed position and detach the hose. Coil and store the hose neatly.

 Tips:

  • If water stops draining before the tub is empty, gently tilt the tub toward the pump side.

  • Always lead the hose to a proper drainage area to avoid flooding.
